Chateau Cos D'estournel 2022 (case of 6)

The Château Cos d'Estournel 2022 wine received extremely high ratings, with scores typically ranging from 93-100 points from prominent critics, including Jeb Dunnuck's exceptional 98-100 points, who called it "one of the finest wines to ever pass my lips". Other notable scores include 99 points from James Suckling and 99 points from Wine Enthusiast, highlighting its powerful structure, complex fruit, and impressive potential for long-term aging.

Cos d'Estournel is in Saint Estèphe but borders Pauillac and, in particular, the vineyards of Château Lafite. The stunning winery is one of the most modern and sophisticated in all of Bordeaux, with a 100% gravity-fed cellar.

The 2022 vintage was produced from yields of 33 hl/ha and is made up of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. Elevage in 50% new oak. They have just purchased their neighbour Cos Labory - but that wine will continue to be made separately.
