Originating as a meticulously crafted Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey by Fred in Kentucky, it embarks on a transformative journey across continents to the Suntory Yamazaki Distillery in Japan. Under the expertise of Shinji, it undergoes secondary aging in French Oak wine casks and Spanish Oak sherry casks, as well as a finishing period in sherry casks previously used for maturing Yamazaki Single Malt Japanese Whisky. These unique aging processes impart rich notes and a vivid spiced finish, adding layers of complexity and depth. Finally, the carefully selected batches are blended with the original Bourbon Whiskey before bottling in Clermont. The result is a harmonious and complex expression, marrying oaky warmth with smooth brightness and culminating in a distinctly long finish.
